Jetson TX2 4GB Module

H

I don’t believe the actual TX2 4GB module is officially available yet (ETA at distributors is end of June), and it will be supported in the next JetPack release. If you have a pre-release version of TX2 4GB, then contact your NVIDIA representative for the EA software for it.

Hello,

I see now that Arrow has the 4GB module listed, but not in stock. I inquired about lead times are they are quoting 16 weeks. Can NVIDIA confirm this delayed availability?

Thank you

Hi Ahuska, there is a shipment of TX2 4GB modules currently enroute to Arrow, so the lead time shouldn’t be 16 weeks. That’s their standard lead time if they don’t have it currently in stock. They should be able to update that shortly after they receive this shipment.

It’s been almost 2 weeks and Arrow does not show these in stock yet. Is there an ETA on when these will be available? Also, do we know what quantity is in the shipment?

Hi Undertow10,

The first shipment sold out immediately upon receipt. Another order has been placed. There are a couple of ways to ensure you are included in the next order that we receive depending upon your quantity needs.

PM me to discuss

Hi!
I have a “regular” TX2, if I use the “Jetson TX2 as Jetson TX2 4GB Configuration Package”, can I go back to original “8GB configuration” latter?

Thanks!

Hi alfredosalvarani, the change isn’t permanent - you can reset it by reflashing your TX2 with the standard JetPack or SDK Manager tool.

Is there any way to get TX2/4GB to work with Jetpack 3.3 or must we upgrade to 4.2.1?

Hi stmpixels, JetPack 4.2.1 is the first version that supports the actual Jetson TX2 4GB hardware, so please use JetPack 4.2.1.

When i flash TX2 of 4GB sdk.Occur error as follows:

Hi 504566020, are you flashing with JetPack 4.2.1 from a PC that has Ubuntu 16.04 or 18.04 natively installed (not VM)? Can you try changing to a different USB port on the PC, for example a USB2 port?

If you continue experiencing the behavior, please follow up with this topic about the issue:
