I made a custom MIPI camera driver for Jetson TX2, the driver was loading and I used to get the following output in dmesg

[ 6.336044] tegra-vi4 15700000.vi: subdev 150c0000.nvcsi–6 bound

[ 6.358559] tegra-vi4 15700000.vi: subdev 150c0000.nvcsi–3 bound

[ 6.373215] tegra-vi4 15700000.vi: cannot find remote port parent

How can i fix this probrem

hello k.sakai,

may I double confirm the L4T release version you’re working with?

you must enable virtual channel support for 8-cam use-case.
please refer to developer guide, Jetson Virtual Channel with GMSL Camera Framework.
besides, you may see-also Debugging Tips section for troubleshooting.

Thank you for the feedback L4T version is Jetson Linux R32.7.4.
After reading the developer guide, I noticed that the following content was missing.
remote-endpoint = sensor

After modification, the following was recognized
[ 6.366015] tegra-vi4 15700000.vi: cannot find remote port parent
[ 6.373215] tegra-vi4 15700000.vi: cannot find remote port parent

However, a kernel panic now occurs during startup.
I will ask about this again in a separate thread.

hello k.sakai,

please double check your sensor port bindings,
