Hello Nvidia,

I installing Jetpack 4.4 DP version through SDK manager so this time I came across that Flashing failed.
Here is the link where I have shared my log files.

Hi kgupta3,

The download failed is due to you host Ubuntu machine issue.
Please run “apt-get update” on your host machine and check it can finished the command.
Then run the sdkmanager again.

I can’t open your logs link.
But check you attached “NV_L4T_FLASH_TX2_WITH_OS_IMAGE_COMP.log” log, you can flash image successfully.
If you still get flash fail, please try to flash by manually:

  1. $cd /home/anaam/jetpack4.2/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_4.2_Linux_JETSON_TX2/Linux_for_Tegra
  2. Put device into recovery mode
  3. $sudo ./flash jetson-tx2 mmcblk0p1

HI,

There are two functions in SDKmanager: flash the board(driver package/BSP) and install the SDK(cuda/tensorRT…etc.) .

In your case, since you possibly don’t have IP address, only the flash would work on your side but not sdk installation.

Since we are actually checking the IP issue, it is sufficient to debug if your board could be flashed successfully and boot up.

No need to care about the error from sdkmanager. Please dump the dmesg and ifconfig after you know the board is flashed successfully.

If you see similar kernel panic in your board again, then probably hardware issue.

Hello NVIDIA,

I still see the similar kernel panic.
It’s not detecting the IP address now also.

Since it’s a hardware issue, I should return it right?

Yes, please file the RMA request.
