Jetson TX2 flashing for Auvidea J90 doesn't work

Hi,

I have a Jetson TX2 Developer Kit and bought the Auvidea J90 carrier board.
To flash the Jetson with JetPack 3.3 I followed the instructions of Auvidea.

  • JetPack 3.3 install only
  • Patch the installation with newest files of Auvidea for the J90
  • Flash with Jetson with the JetPack application

Flashing seems to be successful. When I power up the Jetson the boot process looks good. But when the Bash prompt is available two erros are printed in a loop:

tegra-i2c 3190000.i2c: tx dma time0000.i2c: I2C_CNFG - 0x22c00
tegra-i2c 3190000.i2c: I2C_FIFO_ST - 0x2
tegra-i2c 3190000.i2c: i2c transfer timed out: 0x50
tegra-i2c 3190000.i2c: tx dma time0000.i2c: I2C_CNFG - 0x22c00
tegr84499 3190000.i2c: I2C_FIFO_STATUSx2
tegra-i2c 3190000.i2c: i2c transfer timed out: 0x50

Input through UART does nothing.

BertusR,

If you set up pure Jetpack with tx2 module on NVIDIA devkit, would you see such error?
Could you give more description about “when the Bash prompt is available two erros are printed in a loop:”?

What is that timing? How do you trigger that?
