Jetson Xavier not detecting the pi camera

I’m able to visualize that the rasberry Picamera is attached to the Jetson Xavier NX with ls -ltrh /dev/video because I get /dev/video0 but then it doesn’t work when I run a simple python scripts using gstream or just with the Cheese Webcam Booth application on Ubuntu. Maybe the port is broken, but it’s the first time that I try it out. Using the same code and another Jetson Xavier NX works without problems. Are there any drives that maybe I need to install or other special configurations?

hello yager.project,

assume you’re working with Raspberry Pi v2, IMX219 camera sensor.
it’s a bayer sensor, hence it might not works with Cheese Webcam application.
please refer to Approaches for Validating and Testing the V4L2 Driver for sample commands to validate the camera stream.
thanks
