Jetson xavier nx production module There seems to be a problem when downloading and flashing l4t

Hello,

I downloaded l4t
With sudo ./flash jetson~.conf mmcblk0p1 command

Flash the xavier nx production module (emmc).

However, if I install the latest l4t 32.5.1 this way, I cannot boot.

I flashed it using the combination of xavier nx production module + xavier nx devkit carrierboard.

Please cross check.

Which jetson board config is in use? Is this issue on NX or Nano? You file this topic in Nano forum.

However, the production module emmc capacity of 16 GB is not enough.
Are there any official manuals for using external storage?

Can you only the file system without installing those SDK first? Need to make sure if this is fails to flash issue or just not enough disk space.

Hello,

I don’t use sdkmanager when flashing xavier nx.
Download l4t
Flash with the command sudo ./flash jetson-xavier-nx~.conf mmcblk0p1

The l4t downloaded from dlc should also have no disk size issue because the sdk is not inside this package.

Thus, please share the uart log to me.

It works fine when I try flashing again.
However, there were cases in which booting itself was not possible even after flashing was finished.

Then just share the log when error happens. Otherwise you are just telling a story without any evidence.

How do I share a log when there is no log because it cannot boot up?

Obviously, a message about rebooting after flashing was finished, but
Didn’t the screen go over after the Nvidia logo appeared after booting?

So I downloaded l4t and sample rfs again
It worked because I flashed it again.

I wasn’t lying.

Please prepare these equipment to dump the log.

I don’t blame you to lie or something else. We are engineers so everything depends on the log to tell.

Next time flashing doesn’t work, I will definitely refer to this and share it after leaving a dump.
It works fine now.
Maybe I made a mistake in the middle.
