Keep Machine Idle when not in use?

I’m curious if the DGXSPARK is intended to be left in idle mode when I’m not using it. Specifically, “Thermal cycling (frequent on/off) can technically stress components more than steady idle.” - GPT5.

asking because if meant to idle, I’d be happy to do so. But, I’d like to keep its longevity.

What do you see that shows the unit is not idling?

Oh, it definitely idles appropriately. Let me rephrase - What state do I want the system in while I’m done using it for the day, or stepping away for a few hours, etc? Or, should I simply power it down?
