Kernel 5.10 and "kernel read not supported" messages

Just installed 460.27.04 and kernel 5.10.3 on my laptop, and now I see these messages in dmesg when booting up:

[ 4.993524] kernel read not supported for file pci0000:00/0000:00:01.0/0000:01:00.0/config (pid: 392 comm: nvidia-smi)
[ 21.039406] kernel read not supported for file pci0000:00/0000:00:01.0/0000:01:00.0/config (pid: 492 comm: X)

Output from `nvidia-smi´ does not show any values for GPU Fan and Pwr:Usage/Cap or GI ID and CI ID. Anyone knows why this is?

Thank you for figuring it out! Hope it’ll get resolved in a future update, I’ll try reverting that patch in the meantime.

It’s not trivial to revert this patch, unfortunately, here’s all the work that got into removing set_fs() et al…
