TESmart Dual Monitor KVM
Mac mini: monitor, keyboard, mouse all working correctly. Tahoe 26.2, M4 chip.
Spark; monitor working correctly, keyboard and mouse are not
Have updated system (Linux spark-21e3 6.14.0-1015-nvidia). Have checked all cables. Have cold booted the KVM.
Which specific KVM model do you have? Can you tell me how the Keyboard and Mouse get connected through the Spark via KVM? Through the USB-C port or a different method?
I’m also having the same problem. I am unable to set up my Spark. I am using a GL.inet Comet network KVM. I don’t have the space to set up new keyboards, mouse and monitors for each Spark, so this is incredibly frustrating that I can’t set up a $5k device out of the box. I see my mouse moving around in the screen, but I can’t initialize the Spark without direct HID device connected? What is so special about a mouse that I have to plug a physical one in to make this $5k device work? Couldn’t you have just created a start button that people could click on? I don’t even have a USB C mouse. And my bluetooth mouse is already being used on my main driver. So, I’m just out of luck? This feels so wrong already and it’s giving my buyers remorse.
Using LuckFox Pico KVM. It’s intermittent, when it works, it works. When it don’t , soft reboot (of Pico KVM), plugging and unplugging the cable etc. Mostly issues with HDMI more than Keyboard and Mouse. I think sometimes it’s also browser issues.
To add another problematic situation: During the Spark rebuild (last time with dgx-spark-recovery-image-1.120.39.tar.gz), my Microsoft Natural keyboard works, but my usual Cherry keyboard doesn’t!
With a running system, both work fine. It is quite disconcerting when the keyboard that worked before suddenly stops working during the OS reinstallation and you’re stuck!
