Hi Team, I have an issue where I can’t get my external monitors to work with my laptop. I’ve got a Thinkpad T15g (2070 Super mobile) running Kubuntu 22.04 with nVidia Driver version: 515.65.01 Interestingly enough I can see the external monitors by running this command: ❯ nvidia-xconfig --query-gpu-info Number of GPUs: 1 GPU #0: Name : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super with Max-Q Design UUID : GPU-0021a4ff-04d5-e1da-d330-2451caf0c224 PCI BusID : PCI:1:0:0 Number of Display Devices: 2 Display Device 0 (TV-1): EDID Name : Acer K242HL Minimum HorizSync : 30.000 kHz Maximum HorizSync : 80.000 kHz Minimum VertRefresh : 55 Hz Maximum VertRefresh : 76 Hz Maximum PixelClock : 170.000 MHz Maximum Width : 1920 pixels Maximum Height : 1080 pixels Preferred Width : 1920 pixels Preferred Height : 1080 pixels Preferred VertRefresh : 60 Hz Physical Width : 530 mm Physical Height : 300 mm Display Device 1 (TV-3): EDID Name : Acer K242HL Minimum HorizSync : 30.000 kHz Maximum HorizSync : 80.000 kHz Minimum VertRefresh : 55 Hz Maximum VertRefresh : 76 Hz Maximum PixelClock : 170.000 MHz Maximum Width : 1920 pixels Maximum Height : 1080 pixels Preferred Width : 1920 pixels Preferred Height : 1080 pixels Preferred VertRefresh : 60 Hz Physical Width : 530 mm Physical Height : 300 mm Also possibly related, in the BIOS I have the option to only use discrete graphics and when switching to that I get stuck on a black screen unable to get to my login prompt I’ve attached a bug report in the hopes that this helps [nvidia-bug-report.log.gz](https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/uploads/short-url/A0AmaVBUUJvYZunE9UYtRpVRbGP.gz) (303.9 KB) ---

Please delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel-graphics.conf and uninstall the xorg-video-intel driver. ---

Please delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel-graphics.conf /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf ---

Hi Generix, I’ve done that too, this time on reboot I did see the external monitors activate but it wouldn’t get to the login screen. After leaving it for 5 minutes and it was still stuck on that it booted into recovery and used `prime-select intel` in order to boot in to which I was able to see the login screen again [nvidia-bug-report.log.gz](https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/uploads/short-url/p0xHWXNtrhsJq3URaBNHFxO1eMe.gz) (129.5 KB) ---

That’s odd, according to the logs from the previous boot, everything was fine. Please also delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf as it’s empty anyway but might confuse the Xserver. ---
