L4T 32.4.4 link for "Sample Root Filesystem Sources" points to the Sample rootfs tarball

Hi,

We derive our own rootfs from the L4T sample rootfs and therefore need to provide the rootfs sources to be compliant with the GPL. I noticed that on the L4T 32.4.4 download page[1] the “Sample Root Filesystem Sources” link points to: https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/L4T/r32_Release_v4.4/r32_Release_v4.4-GMC3/T186/Tegra_Linux_Sample-Root-Filesystem_R32.4.4_aarch64.tbz2 - just like the “Sample Root Filesystem” link.
I’d really appreciated if this could be rectified so that we can get a hold of the rootfs sources for the L4T 32.4.4 release

Thanks and best regards,
Marvin

I am not sure if this is what you want. The source of rootfs is just in below link.

https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/downloads#?search=root

Hey Wayne,

thanks for your response, I’m aware where to find the rootfs sources, the problem is that for 32.4.4 (and only 32.4.4 as far as I can tell), the link for rootfs sources points to the final rootfs - not the sources.

For e.g. 32.5.1 and 32.4.3 the “L4T Sample Root Filesystem Sources” download points to
https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/l4t/r32_release_v5.1/sources/ubuntu_bionic-l4t_lxde_aarch64_src.tbz2
https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/L4T/r32_Release_v4.3/sources/ubuntu_bionic-l4t_aarch64_src.tbz2

For 32.4.4 it points to
https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/L4T/r32_Release_v4.4/r32_Release_v4.4-GMC3/T186/Tegra_Linux_Sample-Root-Filesystem_R32.4.4_aarch64.tbz2

which is the actual rootfs tarball, not a tarball with all the sources the sample rootfs was built from

Best regards,
Marvin

Gentle ping, any update on this?

The link has not been fixed so far, so this is wrongly marked as solved (my thumbs up was for delegating the issue to the website engineers)

Sorry, still pushing this with website engineer.

The link should be corrected, thanks for reporting this issue.
