L4t_payload_updater_t210 update

1.Does the l4t_payload_updater_t210 need to update when the L4T update from low version to high version?
Now we found it need update when L4T update from R32.5 to R32.7.
2.How to get l4t_payload_updater_t210, if not used SDK manager, just from “Jetson Linux R32.7.3 | NVIDIA Developer”, we didn’t find l4t_payload_updater_t210?

Hi 18502109920,

Are you using the devkit or custom board for Jetson Nano?

For updating from R32.5 to R32.7, you could just refer to the following instruction through apt command.
NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide : Over-the-Air Update - Updating from the NVIDIA APT Server

Hi, our customer doesn’t support OTA, we want to know how to get l4t_payload_updater_t210 ,if not used SDK manager?
And why l4t_payload_updater_t210 changed?

You could refer to the following instruction for bootloader update.
NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide : Bootloader - Bootloader Update

Does the /user/sbin/l4t_payload_updater_t210 exists in your board?

I know the bootloader update method, we had used the method.
We download the /user/sbin/l4t_payload_updater_t210 from your forums when our L4T is R32.4.2. Now our base code updated to L4T R32.7.3, and used the old l4t_payload_updater_t210 will be error, and when we update the l4t_payload_updater_t210 by SDK manager, it is ok.
My question is : Does this file change as the L4t changes? And how to get it from SDK not used SDK manager?

What do you mean about this?

This file (l4t_payload_updater_t210) should under /usr/sbin/ on your board with R32.7.3.

The file on our board is older. Now our SDK code hasd updated to L4T R32.7.3.
When we gernerate the burn images, we updated kernel source codes to R32.7.3 and build to burn image, the u-boot is the same, and update bsp source codes to R32.7.3, and the rootfs is our customized, we had add the old l4t_payload_updater_t210 to rootfs /usr/sbin/.
I just want to know: Does this file change as the L4t changes? And how to get it from SDK not used SDK manager?
We need the file to generate the rootfs image.

Because the file is in the rootfs, but it didn’t exist in your “Downloads and Links” of
Jetson Linux R32.7.3 | NVIDIA Developer.

We update the source codes from this picture links.

You could just do the file difference for the l4t_payload_updater_t210 between these two version.

Does not it exist in “Sample Root Filesystem”?

How do you get it from R32.5?
