We’ve developped a carrierboard for the Jetson AGX xavier, following the OEM Design guide.
While running tests, we have seen the following issue with ripple on our 12V power rail.
Approximatly 2Vpp looks like a lot.
Do you have any clue what might cause this issue?
The frequency seems somewhat random. Furthermore this mainly becomes a problem while running a stressful application.
Hi, can you see this on devkit? If not, the module is good. Then you can check your custom from power part design and power supply. It looks like some charging/discharging actions on your board. Maybe you can try another better DC supply or adding bigger capacitors and etc…
We can’t really test it with a devkit and we tried some different solutions as you mentioned. But we tried with two different powersupplies and the same tendencies are present, but it is less noticeable and also another frequency.
There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue any more.

Do you mean that it is better with other power supply? Can you try adding super capacitors to the supply?
