Just reading that OV dosent support lat long directly, which is a little strange with drive sim etc…
while we have Cesium for Omniverse – Cesium are there any plans to develop a OUSD / OV standard to handle lat long? I’m more thinking as we start moving into large scale scans and autonomous robots? I would imagine that this would be critical for OVs use cases?
Having asked the very top open USD experts at the company I was told it is something of interest for future endeavors, yes. We did do a primary look at it, but it will have to be ratified by the AOUSD Council.
