Thanks for previous help on updating firmware on HPE adapter. RHEL 7.3 working for native C applications calling rsockets directly and with IBM JSOR (with some limitations; presumably configuration issues but cannot find any documentation or get any support from IBM - even for a fee).
Trying to use LD_PRELOAD libvma with standard ftp (or lftp) client. This was the entire reason for 7.3 upgrade. Below example - ftp open command times out after ? 30-90 seconds, while active netstat shows SYN-SENT. I am able to connect to the same remote port with a native C program calling rsockets directly. Curious to get the VMA WARNING *** lines without any detail. My Linux admin guy is working with RedHat support but RedHat has been very slow and offered no relevant suggestions so far. Any body have libvma working? Sample config files would be appreciated.
