licensing problem when creating new project

Hi,

I have installed PGI Visual Fortran on my Windows Vista 32-bit machine. I am using an licensing keys under the academic program (good until 8/31/2009).

I have everything installed, complier, license manager,…got the key from PGI.

Started the license service in Windows.

When I start VS-2008 and create a new Fortran project, I get a pop-up window that reads:

pgi-pvf: LICENSE MANAGER PROBLEM: License file does not support this version.
Feature: pgi-pvf
Application version > License version: 8 > 7.2
License path: C:\Program Files\PGI\license.dat;./license.dat;
FLEXnet Licensing error: -21,126
For further information, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing documentaiton,
available at “www.macrovision.com

I thought I followed the directions exactly. I thought that when I registered with my PIN code under the academic license structure I would have received the correct key file for PVF.

Any suggestions?

Sorry about that Mike. You should have been issued an 8.0 license. We’ll update you account shortly and then you’ll be able to re-generate your license.
