If you have any questions, you can post them on this thread as well. I’d be happy to answer them.

If you buy a C1060, is the free upgrade to C2050 or to C2070?

It’s to either C2050 or C2070. But it’s not a “free” upgrade. It’s a “no penalty” upgrade. This means that if you purchase a C1060 today, then you will only pay the difference to C2050/C2070 MSRP to upgrade. For example, C2050 MSRP is $2499 and C1060 MSRP is $1299. If you purchase a C1060 today, then you will pay $1200 when you want to upgrade to C2050.

Does that help?

Ahh, for us not really, as we already have a bunch of C1060’s. We are more eagerly waiting to test our processing on Fermi ;)

I wish this were the case but following discussions with several suppliers it seems that this is a misinterpretation of the NVIDIA offer…

Basically you can buy a C1060 now with an extra 10% discount and if you pre-order your C2050 now, you will get the 10% discount on that aswell. If I only had to pay the difference I’d have ordered them weeks ago but this is not the deal NVIDIA are actually offering External Media
