Link to ZIP file shown in IGX re-flash instructions broken

The link with display name “2023-10-29_l4t-l4t-r36.1.zip” on the following page: Software Installation - NVIDIA Docs is broken.

The URL is apps.nvidia.com, which is unreachable. As such, I can’t re-flash in order to use the RTX A6000.

You will need to reach out to your NVIDIA account manager to be added to the PID posting, so you can obtain the BSP.

Thanks. In the meantime, I’ve used the instructions and links on GitHub - and have made good progress: holoscan-docs/devkits/nvidia-igx-orin/nvidia_igx_orin_user_guide.md at main · nvidia-holoscan/holoscan-docs (github.com)

However, the following note applies: “Note : If the display port is attached to the discrete GPU and you do not see the NVIDIA splash screen during reboot, the GPU firmware must be updated. Contact the NVIDIA support forum for assistance.”

Since this is the case, please assist :-)

Hi,
Please try to get access to the link:
2023-10-29_l4t-l4t-r36.1.zip

This is the latest release and we would suggest use this version.

Thanks. Like the other link, I cannot access this file. I’m reaching out to my NVIDIA contact to help “get added to the PID posting so I can obtain the BSP”, but right now I don’t have access.

Do you think this latest version will address the other issue I mentioned, i.e. “Note : If the display port is attached to the discrete GPU and you do not see the NVIDIA splash screen during reboot, the GPU firmware must be updated. Contact the NVIDIA support forum for assistance.”

Please advise.

Hi,
Discrete GPU is not well supported in the Early-Access release, so it’s possible it is still an issue. We would suggest use the embedded DP port.

Thanks. But if we do that, we can’t use the dGPU for processing either? The unit shipped with an A6000, and so really want to use it :-)
Happy to roll up sleeves and update GPU firmware, if that’s needed - or whatever it takes.

Thanks,
Philip
