I’m installing CUDA 6.5 on Mac OS X for the first time and following the CUDA Getting Started Mac manual. I’ve run the make routines on page 8, and make -C 0_Simple/vectorAdd completes properly. I’ve checked that I can run the vectorAdd program successfully.
However the next make command on the list fails:
make -C 0_Simple/vectorAddDrv
/Developer/NVIDIA/CUDA-6.5/bin/nvcc -ccbin clang -m64 -Xcompiler -arch -Xcompiler x86_64 -Xlinker -rpath -Xlinker /Developer/NVIDIA/CUDA-6.5/lib -Xlinker -framework -Xlinker CUDA -gencode arch=compute_11,code=compute_11 -o vectorAddDrv vectorAddDrv.o
nvcc warning : The ‘compute_11’, ‘compute_12’, ‘compute_13’, ‘sm_11’, ‘sm_12’, and ‘sm_13’ architectures are deprecated, and may be removed in a future release.
ld: framework not found CUDA
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
make: *** [vectorAddDrv] Error 1
I’ve double-checked that the export lines were set up properly. What more do I need to do?
