Linux library segfaults, causes reboot

Running Ubuntu 14.04 on a circa 2007 Dell laptop with Quadro on the motherboard. Occasionally, waking out of a suspended state results in a reboot:

I’m using the driver Ubuntu identifies as “NVIDIA binary driver - version 340.76”
