Hi,

I cannot get past the login on the launcher. INitially tried with FF, then saw recommendations to try chrome, same problem. UFW disabled. Rebooted multiple times. Ubuntu 22.04 system running Cuda workloads just fine on driver 535.

I have also cleared out all the omniverse files and started again. Also tried the one where you copy the .desktop from /tmp to the autostart folder.

I have also tried the laucher appimage from the terminal, and from the file explorer (both run and run in terminal)

The browser reports:

You can continue to work in the application. As others have reported, there are things in the console of the browser, I think just this message on repeat:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()
[messages.launcher.omniverse.nvidia.com/features-v2.json](http://messages.launcher.omniverse.nvidia.com/features-v2.json)

I understand this may be unrelated.

Here is the output of the launcher when run in the termnal:

I can also connect to the URLs mentioned in those logs. I can find apps, but when I hit install it tries to go back to the launcher

Not sure if related, but if I copy the install link it reads:

omniverse-launcher://install?slug=alias-connector&version=203.0.2

Chrome insists on searching google if the link is entered, so I tried FF again from the console and go this:

$ firefox
sh: 1: exec: /home/james/omniverse-launcher-linux.AppImage: Permission denied

We get a lot of problems with launcher and Ubuntu where someone has modified their base environment and not realized how much it changes how apps are launched.

Have you modified your native Ubuntu install ?

Have you installed FUSE ? If not try that.

Same problem here. Tried all the above without success. My native Ubuntu install has not been modified.
