Local model running real-world brewing agents

My home brewery now has its own locally hosted Fermentation Copilot :)

The current setup connects:
• wireless temperature and gravity sensors (Tilt and Rapt Pill)
• PostgreSQL for storing the data, captured every 5 min (both gravity and temp). Also hosts my recipes, brewing notes. Malt, hops and yeast profiles and characteristics are also there and I am using “database first” when i need “advice” on a recipe adjustment or fermentation schedule.
• A glycol cooling system and fermentor heating jackets, all connected via Shelly smart plugs
• a locally hosted LLM (currently Mistral 119B, was using Qwen 3.5 until last week) running on my Asus

DGX Spark
• WhatsApp as the operating interface

Nice, but here is the million dollar question, will it fetch you a beer or is that coming in V2? 🥳

I thought we always need a human in loop?! :) Im Eastern European, we still use our kids to fetch us beer :)

I salute this use case and intention. :) pouring a proper pint is an artisan thing, same as brewing an espresso. It’s half the pleasure.
