Manual exposure setting of IMX477 sensor

Hi,
I want to manually set exposure for IMX477 sensor (RPI HQ Camera) on Nvidia Jetson Nano. I’m setting an exposuretimerange and gainrange parameters of nvarguscamerasrc element. And the problem is I cannot set maximum values of these parameters reported by gstreamer logs which are as follows:

GST_ARGUS: Available Sensor modes :
GST_ARGUS: 4032 x 3040 FR = 29,999999 fps Duration = 33333334 ; Analog Gain range min 1,000000, max 22,250000; Exposure Range min 13000, max 683709000;

GST_ARGUS: 1920 x 1080 FR = 59,999999 fps Duration = 16666667 ; Analog Gain range min 1,000000, max 22,250000; Exposure Range min 13000, max 683709000;

For example, the following command:

Maximum values I can set are exemplary values obtained using gst-inspect-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc command:

exposuretimerange   : Property to adjust exposure time range in nanoseconds
			Use string with values of Exposure Time Range (low, high)
			in that order, to set the property.
			eg: exposuretimerange="34000 358733000"

...

gainrange           : Property to adjust gain range
			Use string with values of Gain Time Range (low, high)
			in that order, to set the property.
			eg: gainrange="1 16"

How I can set greater values for these parameters ? And why gstreamer says that maximum value of exposure time is 683,709ms but according to this document: Raspberry Pi Documentation - Raspberry Pi OS the shutter speed can be set up to 200s for HQ camera ?

The max exposure time is report from the sensor device tree configure.

ok I can see that the max exposure (i.e. 683709000) is set in device tree of the sensor but why the GST_ARGUS doesn’t allow to set the exposure time to values greater than 358733000 ?

@ShaneCCC I changed this parameter, compiled and installed gstnvarguscamerasrc accoridng to instruction from public_sources/Linux_for_Tegra/source/public/gst-nvarguscamera_src/gst-nvarguscamera/README.txt file. And now, when I want to to get image using command:
