I am developing a camera driver on orin developer kit.
I got error during the communication with MAX96712 deserializer, the "DevBlkCDII2CPgmrRead“ function returns NVMEDIA_STATUS_ERROR.

Meanwhile, I tried to use i2cdetect or i2cget to access the MAX96712 like:
sudo i2cdetect -r -y 3
sudo i2cget 3 0x29 0x00

bur always get error.

Could you offer some support on how to access the MAX96712?

Hi @richard.lin1

What camera module are you working on? Is it listed on either DRIVE Ecosystem - Hardware and Software | NVIDIA Developer or DRIVE AGX Orin Sensors & Accessories | NVIDIA Developer?

Hi @VickNV

Module is SONY ISX031 + MAX96717F. It’s not listed but currently the issue is about the I2C communication with MAX96712.

Could you please give me some suggestion? Like check the power control of MAX20087 or anyother factors which should pay attention?

Camera bring-up isn’t supported via the forum.
Please contact your nvidia representative and get the support for this. Thanks.
