Memory Usage Query on Jetson Xavier NX 8GB

Hello, I’m observing unexpected memory behavior on my Jetson Xavier NX (8GB model). According to jtop , only 6.7GB of RAM is available, and approximately 2.5GB appears to be used even with no applications running. This seems inconsistent with the 8GB specification. Is it because I installed the graphical interface and CUDA? Other than that, I can’t think of any other reasons.
