I am planning to implement an 1G ethernet interface using one of the 4 MGBE controllers present in T5000. Does the Controller support 1G Interface ? There is no mention of 1G speed in datasheet. The minimum speed mentioned was 2.5G. Could you please clarify regarding the same. I am planning to integrate the MGBE controller with the PHY chip and RJ45 magnetics+connector in my Custom Carrier Board.
