Hello, I am having trouble to update the microsemi firmware on switch 1.

Following instructions in below link
DRIVE OS Linux

Setup the minicom, baudrate=230400, dev=/dev/ttyUSB15

run version in console, can see the fw version message.

run ‘fw_update’ in console, see following:
Please select file to be transferred in xmodem option of terminal tool, press [CTRL+C] to cancel…CCCCCCCC

Ctrl A + Z, S, xmodem, select x1.default.pmc, okay, then I see following message:
failure executing protocol…

Anything wrong? Please advise! Thank you!

Please try with lrzsz package installed. Thanks.

$ sudo apt-get install lrzsz

HI Siva&Vick, I’ve updated the fw through Xavier A using switchtec binary. I will share the pics of minicom when I get a chance. Thank you!
