We are trying to connect a mid360 to our jetson orin via the ethernet port and it worked on the out of the box version of jetson linux, but after updating to the the latest (ubuntu 22.04) version of jetson linux we are no longer even able to ping it, we get a host unreachable error. This lidar has been tested on other computers and it worked fine so we are unsure of the root of the problem but I suspect it has to do with the flashing of the orin; we followed this tutorial up to the last part of it where it said “you can complete the oem config as stated here” as the link provided gave us a 404. If there is any extra information needed let us know how we can get it and we’ll post it. Thank you!
Hi,
Please re-flash to Jetpack 5.1.3(r35.5.0) and check if it works. If it works with 5.1.3 and fails with 6.0GA, it is very likely certain kernel configs have to be enabled for the device. For 6.0GA release, kernel is aligned with upstream kernel and you have to manually enable required kernel configs.
