MLNX_OFED hangs at openibd restart

I am using the procedure given in the quick installation guide for DPDK (http://www.mellanox.com/related-docs/prod_software/MLNX_DPDK_Quick_Start_Guide_v16.11_1.5.pdf) for connectX-4.

$./mlnxofedinstall --add-kernel-support --upstream-libs --dpdk [successfull]

$/etc/init.d/openibd restart [Failed and hanged at loading rdma_cm, below is the output of the command]

Unloading HCA driver: [ OK ]

Loading HCA driver and Access Layer: [ OK ]

Killed

Loading rdma_cm [FAILED]

I am using ubuntu 16.04, kernel 4.4.0-154-generic and my card is MCX414A-BCAT. I am trying to install it since two days and not progressing. If someone can please help me get through this that will be great.

Please note that we will add support for Ubuntu 16.04.4/5 with upstream kernel 4.4.181/4.4.0-145 and 4.4.0-154 in the next MLNX_OFED 4.7 .

Also you can refer to MLNX_OFED release notes under “General Support in MLNX_OFED” :

* Ubuntu 16.04.05 and 16.04.06 can be used only with Kernels of version 4.4.0-143 or below.
