can we use use the MMA1B00-C100D with the CX7 Dual Port QSFP112 NIC ? since CX7 is based on NDR , can it shift to NRZ (4x25Gb) for 100Gb speed ?

MMA1B00‑C100D is a 100GBASE‑SR4 QSFP28 optical transceiver using 4×25G NRZ lanes.
CX7 adapters support multiple Ethernet speeds including 100GbE and support both NRZ and PAM4 (50G and 100G).
NVIDIA LinkX configuration guidance explicitly notes that QSFP112 cages (CX7) accept QSFP28 100GbE SR4 modules such as MMA1B00‑C100D, with 100GbE defined as 4×25G NRZ
So electrically and protocol‑wise, the CX7 can downshift from its maximum NDR‑class capability to 100GbE NRZ (4×25G) and use MMA1B00‑C100D, assuming the module appears on the validated list for your specific adapter card and firmware.
