Monster Hunter wilds Vertex Explosions and performance issues

i was hoping it would been fixes ages ago due to the first beta being broken but no one reported it as always! trying to change that don’t worry.










here are the many images at the start of the game NOW IT doesn’t always happen but still is an issue.

Another issue on linux with nvidia is that one boot of the game runs amazing! 120fps locked 1440p maxed and the second boot runs like garbage 47fps same settings and it makes no sense and the power draw is much lower. Also pyroveil fails to work as well.

is there any update on this?

While not an official fix, this issue can be resolved by using the pyroveil layer created by HansKristian(creator/maintainer of vkd3d-proton):

just follow the steps listed in the repository, add the launch argument, and while not a listed step, I would also remove the files in the root of your game’s directory:

vkd3d-proton.cache
vkd3d-proton.cache.write

and let it rebuild itself before running with the pyroveil layer enabled.

That is not a fix and never was sadly.
