So I removed the quiet option to check what was going on.
An I get in the end

Its kinda tricky for me to get access to the serial console.

If you use the same nvme drive, but with emmc boot. Will you see this “nvme0n1” node under /dev?

under bash I am only able to see the /dev/nvme0.
Not the partition /dev/nvme0p1

Then why did you tell the system to mount at nvme0n1…

Sorry my mistake I mean the /dev/nvme0n1

That’s where the RFS is. But this doesn’t seam to be mounted on boot.
This is what I see when I boot with mmc

jetson@jetson-desktop:~$ ls -l /dev/nvme0*
crw------- 1 root root 236, 0 Mar 22 13:19 /dev/nvme0
brw-rw---- 1 root disk 259, 2 Mar 22 13:19 /dev/nvme0n1

Could you mount that node now and see if the mount point is able to see the rootfs?

when I mount it I am able to see it

jetson@jetson-desktop:~$ sudo mount /dev/nvme0n1 /media/
jetson/
jetson@jetson-desktop:~$ sudo mount /dev/nvme0n1 /media/jetson/250G-SSD/

So i managed to make it working

So sorry I just packed everything inside again… Would be lot of work to get access to the UART console again.
