Hi,

How can I used the Movie Capture tool in AODT.

I get this error when pressing the icon in the bottom right corner:

I tried to access it as describe in this link: Movie Capture — Omniverse Extensions but the setup in AODT is different.

I appreciate your help in advance.

Please can you provide an update for this. I have upgraded to AODT 1.2.0 and this still does not seem to work.

@oed Extensions are not enabled in AODT 1.2.0. Is there a reason to capture the OV video? Can you not use OV screen directly? We are trying to understand the use case for using any additional tools.

Hi,

For demo purposes, I would like to capture full resolution video clips of specific scenarios - so that it can be shown without running AODT. I can of course use regular screen capture tools, but I would assume that the video capture offers better quality as the icon in shown on the AODT screens - also better repeatability as sometimes when I close and reload AODT, some settings seem to change to their defaults, such as the UE show rays from tick-boxes, which having to contest with isn’t always ideal for presentations.

Thanks for your response and for letting me know that the extensions aren’t available.

Our licensing allows you to use the UI for your demo. If you wish, you could rebrand the UI as your own. That way you dont have to worry about recording/creating videos. Let us know if you wish to proceed down the path.
