Looks like the firmware updates are now generally available for the MSI EdgeXpert:

  • MS_C931 USB-C PD FW Firmware Update
  • MS_C931 SoC Firmware Update
  • MS_C931 Embedded Controller Firmware Update

I was encountering what I think was the PD issues on my DGX Spark the other day, where performance was crap until I physically unplugged the brick from the wall and the Spark. Even though I’m pretty sure I’d already done that disconnect for the Spark after the firmware updates on that. So not sure what happened there. But probably worth doing the same thing on the EdgeXpert just in case that’s still an issue. Which I’m guessing it is since these firmware updates are dated 2/11/26.

Where are you seeing these updates?

Just ran the update and it seems latency has improved.

I did the update via the dgx dashboard. The update takes awhile so don’t unplug/force restart the system.
