MTS error (2) : dram alias check failure on boot

Hi, my Jetson TX2 suddenly become a white screen while it’s running, no response, and then I have to press the reset button. Unfortunately, it does not recover but only shows the following error on boot from the serial debugging terminal:

[0001.998] C> MTS error (2) : dram alias check failure
[0002.003] C> cpu waypoint 0.5 failed
[0002.007] C> ERROR: Highest Layer Module = 0x32, Lowest Layer Module = 0x32,
Aux Info = 0x1, Reason = 0x6

Can anyone help me to figure it out what happened? What can I do to recover my important data? Thanks.

eyonge,

This looks like the hardware issue… But in case I still need to ask if you’ve done any modification or configuration to your board.

Hi WayneWWW, I didn’t have any modification or configuration to my board, I mean, it just happened while everything is ok, I didn’t even have any operation on it, it was just showing the Ubuntu desktop, and then suddenly became a white screen on the HDMI monitor.

I tried to enter recovery mode, but it was just failed when I trying to recover the data from its eMMC. Exactly like this guy:https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1024291/jetson-tx2/tx2-module-failure-/

eyonge,

Is your board still able to enter recovery and flash any partition?

It can enter recovery but can’t flash any partition.
