I have an older application I am trying to recompile. The app’s makefile has some old compiler options: -Mx,119,0x200000

Now there was once I time when I knew what these flags controlled but time and tide have removed that information from my memory. Does anyone have a cross-reference list that can tell me what these flags controlled?

Hi Jeff,

This is an obsolete internal compiler flag used to define “#” as the comment character in an assembly file. This has been the default for many years and the flag is no longer used.

Note that we do not document internal compiler flags and in general should not be used by end users.

Thanks for the update. I can safely leave this off as we go to rebuild this legacy application.
Thanks again!
