My Jetson Orin NX (on a Seeed Studio J4012 carrier board) is not booting after initial setup

Hi,
I recently bought a Jetson Orin NX module on a Seeed Studio J4012 carrier board and encountered a serious issue after initial setup.

What Happened:

  • On first boot, the device worked normally and booted into the OS.

  • After powering it off and turning it back on later:

    • It showed the NVIDIA logo, then went to a black screen.

  • I accessed the UEFI BIOS to check boot settings and tried rebooting again.

  • After that, the device stopped working completely:

    • No HDMI output
    • No response from USB peripherals (keyboard/mouse)
    • Fan is spinning
    • Green LED on the board is lit

I’ve tried power cycling, different HDMI cables, and different monitors no change. The device appears to power on, but there’s no display or input response now.

Request: Can someone help me troubleshoot this? Could this be a bootloader or eMMC issue? Should I try reflashing the Jetson Orin NX, or could it be a hardware fault with the module or carrier board?

How do you flash your device?
Do you use sdk manager or our official bsp to flash your device?
Seeed Studio have provided their customized bsp, please reach out Seeed Studio to get bsp if need.
