Native laptop screen no longer detected

Hi,

So i was tinkering with xrandr earlier to try and get my 4k monitor to 60hz(before i wrote the other thread) and its not possible with this monitor. I rebooted the laptop and not the native screen wont display after boot. Its a dual boot laptop with windows on and shows the boot menu when booting but once its booted it will only detect the external HDMI.

I think i need to reset the nvidia and xrandr settings but would rather not mess it up.

Just try the gnome control center first, maybe it’s just disabled. If the monitor is not listed in control center, please create and attach a nvidia-bug-report.log

Please delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf and reboot.
