I have an 06 truck that runs a 9 pin to read diagnostics. I want to build a system that can add AI features to the truck, run some sort of modern infotainment, and diagnose and read through 9 pin. Looking for some direction. Right now I’m just in the purchasing stages for what I need. I will be self teaching myself little by little.
I’m not quite sure what the 9 pin is, please provide more detials then can know how to provide suggestions.

The 9pin is the diagnostic connection on the truck. I believe it’s can bus. Like an obd2 but for large trucks. J1748 protocol

AFAIK, there is no J1708 protocol support on Jetson platform directly.
That may require to a bridge connect to convert those date to Jetson.
However we don’t have experiences on this use case, may other developers help to provide suggestions. Thanks
