Try “rss-glx-biof --root” from ‘Really Slick Screensavers Port to GLX’ at http://rss-glx.sourceforge.net, also available e.g. in Fedora via “yum install rss-glx”. This used to work for ages but with 340.xx it now produces a Xid and then hangs unkillable.

This regression ist still present in 340.58.
I thought an easy reproducer would help fixing this, but now I’m guessing I did it wrong: some bloody screensaver hack: who cares?
