"No cameras available" error after installing JetPack 3.1

I recently installed the new JetPack (3.1). My hope was to address an issue (https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1009109/?comment=5148998) that arose in a simple program I wrote based on the sample code oneShot.

Consistent with my experience with the TX1 from the beginning, one step forward lead to two steps back.

Now, my program and other sample codes including 11_camera_object_identification and 09_camera_jpeg_capture all return the error “No cameras available.”

I am trying to use the onboard camera. I suppose it could have failed.

Any concrete steps to diagnose this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, do you mean the onboard camera cannot be detected?

Yes, the onboard camera. In addition to the sample programs above, I just went back and ran oneShot and received the message:

No Camera Devices Available
