No device supporting CUDA

I have Quadro FX 560 graphics card. I have installed the driver provided in the CUDA download area.

I am trying to build release with VC2005. It can build successfully, but when I try to run through VC (CTRL + F5), it complains about “There is no device supporting CUDA”. But when I try to run the .exe file under the release directory, it looks like working, but just a window spashing. Is there any way to run from VC so that I can debug and trace over there?

My graphics card is Quadro FX 5600 too, and I tried according to what you said, but all works fine, and no error accured.

Note that the Quadro 560 is not the same as the Quadro 5600.

A pity, Quadro 560 is not supported as listed. Is there any way to config FX 560 to run CUDA SDK?

Supported NVIDIA Hardware

  • Quadro FX 5600

  • Quadro FX 4600

  • GeForce 8800 Ultra

  • GeForce 8800 GTX

  • GeForce 8800 GTS (640 MB & 320 MB)

  • GeForce 8600 GTS

  • GeForce 8600 GT

  • GeForce 8500 GT

Sorry about that, I was wrong.

The FX560 is based on the previous GPU family. It does not support CUDA. I’ve got an FX 570 that does.
