No HDMI sound on L4T r21.4

Hello everybody,

Recently I received my Jetson TK1 board and I am more than happy with it except one annoying thing. I noticed that with L4T r21.4 release HDMI Audio is not working at all.

Does anybody maybe know what could be reason for that and if there is workaround to fix it?

I only get sound at 1920x1080 or 1280x720. Have you tried those?

I’ve also noticed that I can’t switch between a full screen console and the GUI unless I am running at 1920x1080.

Both of these problems seem to be monitor dependent.
