No WLAN anymore REASON 500

I unboxed today an NVIDIA DGX Spark.

First I tried the headless setup which failed to connect to wlan and forces me to get keyboard/mouse/display connected …

So there was no chance to get a wired connect with static IP. It insisted on PXE what wasn’t available on the wired network.

So the setup wanted to use wireless lan. The first 10 tries it was showing me correct all SSIDs available but even to my iPhoone hotspot it wasn’t able to connect even my iPhone told me the Spark was connected.

And now the Spark just shows for 1 min a fancy animation telling me that it is scanning for wireless lan SSIDs and it ends with “Error searching for nearby newtorks. Reason: 500”

I do not want to use wireless lan at all. Just wired with fixed ip.

I downloaded a new image and re-images the box now and it seems to work now.

Downloading updates since more than an hour.

Still pending: why was the image damaged? The initial setup always stopped at wireless lan connect.
