Noise and Echo cancellation in TX1

Hi,

We will be connecting two audio codecs (one is ADC and other is DAC) through I2S (one codec in I2S0 and other in I2S1). These Audio codecs do not have noise and echo cancellation support.

As TX1 has an audio engine, Can Noise cancellation and Echo cancellation be done in TX1?

No, APE can only handle digital data thru I2S. Noise and echo cancellation should be done in codec before audio info are converted to digital I2S signals.

Our Audio codec does not have Noise and Echo cancellation support. Is there any alternative You can suggest with TX1 ?

I have little info about this, google Realtek, there are some codec with AEC function, just for you reference.

Thanks for your response. I will look at it. Actually I meant if there is any alternative that can be done using TX1 for echo and noise cancellation. Seems there is no possibility in TX1.
