Not able to install sdk manager

Hi everyone, I’m trying to flash a Jetson Tx2 Developer Kit, and as it require, I’m installing on an host PC with Ubuntu 18.04 the Nvidia SDK Manager.
After downloaded it, I type this in order to install it:

sudo apt install ./sdkmanager_1.8.0-10363_amd64.deb

But in the reading package lists process, it encountered an error as follow:

Reading package lists… Error!
E: Sub-process Popen returned an error code (2)
E: Encountered a section with no Package: header
E: Problem with MergeList /home/jetpack/sdkmanager_1.8.0-10363_amd64.deb
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

Any thoughts? Thank you in advance!

$ sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* -vf
$ sudo apt update

and try that again.

Thanks. I already tried it. But it doesn’t resolve anything.
