Topic Description

Detailed Description

I have an HTC Vive (2018 model) and I want to visualize the Isaac Sim environment inside the headset. I am using the Monado OpenXR runtime. When I move the controller and the headset, the movement is reflected correctly in Isaac Sim, but I am not able to see the environment inside the HTC Vive.

For additional Information.
In the steamVR, I am able see the steamVRHome inside the Headset.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. To setup the Monado I followed this Instruction.(Monado - Getting Started)

  2. In the Isaac sim , download the XR and close the IsaacSim.

  3. In one terminal I launched the monado-service and other terminal before launching IsaacSim paste this command “export XR_RUNTIME_JSON=~/monado/build/openxr_monado-dev.json” to Isaac SIM get exact location of the monado openXR.

  4. Once Isaac sim Launched , Click start VR. Now you can see VR launched without any issues.
