Not Posting after updating from 5.1.3

Help please, I was following the instructions here: 🚀 Initial Setup Guide - NVIDIA Jetson AI Lab and went to do the reboot from the end of step
I was on step 5.3 for the reboot. Now however the Nano will not start. Power led is green. Fan spins for a few seconds and stops. I can not get a POST at all.
Device is Jetson Nano Orin Devkit

Hi,

After completing step 5.2, the QSPI was updated and is now incompatible with the JetPack 5.1.3 SD card.
Now, do you use the JetPack 5.1.3 SD card or the JetPack 6.x SD card ?

Thanks

I put the JP 6.1 rev 1 SD in it. Not getting POST at all would seem like the UIF didn’t flash correctly?

Is there a way to flash from an SD or what steps can I take to get it to POST?

Hi,

  • Please record the serial console log during the boot and attach it wit us.

Or

  • Using our sdk manager for flashing.
  • our sdk manager host pc requirement is ubuntu 20.04 running on a physical machine not a virtual machine (e.g. VirtualBox, VMware, WSL)

Thanks

Thank you David, I was able to get the Nano Orin updated to 36.+ by using Ubuntu and a usb-c cable.
For Others:

  1. Setup a Ubuntu system, install the Nvidia SDK manager and run.
Important: drop to the bottom of this link if you only need to flash up to 36.+
Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit User Guide - Software Setup | NVIDIA Developer
The manager detected the Nano when it powered on. I did not connect anything other than the power and usb.

  2. Once I confirmed it was flashed to the correct version (at POST) I powered off and put in the SD card with the JP 6.1
