Nsight 5.5 shader debugging support for Pascal

Hey Guys,

Does Nsight 5.5 support shader debugging on a GTX 1070 ? I am trying to debug openGL(4.2) shaders using visual studio 2017(15.6.6). I am following this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAm5ziXE6pA&t=1612s tutorial but can’t seem to set the breakpoint on any of the bound shaders, I get an error saying ‘breakpoint could not be inserted at this location’ no matter where I try to put it, everything else works.

Only Kepler GPUs are supported for shader debugging at the moment.

So, is Pascal ever going to get shader debugging support? It’s getting harder and harder to even buy new Kepler cards.
