I noticed that Nsight Systems would harness the alternatives system in Debian/Ubuntu and create a shortcut to nsys in /usr/local/bin . I think it would be nice if Nsight Compute also does the same thing with ncu . I mean, I can set it up myself, but it will be painful whenever a new version comes out to manually update the set of alternatives…
Edit: It would be nice if a deb version is available for download too from the NVIDIA Developer download center, instead of just the runfile.
